What kind of guild is this?
<Fine Young Cannibals> was formed from a bunch of friends who used to play Alliance (boo! hiss!) but saw the light (errr, darkness?) and came over to The Horde. We've been kicking tail on Lightninghoof since 2005 and are known as a relaxed raiding guild filled with good players.
The Cannibals take PVE seriously, we enjoy a little world PVP, and we encourage members to RP at their own pace.
When do you raid?
Raid times are:- Wednesdays: 8pm-12am ST
- Thursdays: 8pm-12am ST
- Sundays: 8pm-12am ST
We do not run 25-man content outside of these times.
What do you look for in your members?
We are seeking a mature and focused mindset. We're looking for someone who understands the core mechanics of the game and their class, and who possesses an eagerness to learn. The guild wants to bring in players who are a good personality fit and not just people who are good at pressing a few buttons.
Potential applicants should have significant BC and or Wrath raiding experience and be clad in mostly Naxxramas. If you are not normally available for our raid times, please do not apply.
How does recruitment work?
Recruitment generally lasts 30 days. It's a chance for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. After a month, the officers will speak with the guild and vote for either membership status or removal from the guild. Please make an effort to play with other guild members and get to know us.
The officers reserve the right to remove recruits at any time for any other reason. A few basic rules:
- Disrespect toward any member of the guild will not be tolerated.
- Any evidence of ninja looting, speed hacking, AFK botting, or other violations of the TOS is grounds for immediate removal from the guild.
- Trolling the server forums is severely frowned upon here. Please refrain.
How is looting handled?
We use a zero-sum DKP system (sort of) for all 25-man raids. Recruits come in with zero DKP, but can start bidding on items and earning DKP immediately. Items not bid upon are rolled for offspec use. Recruits may not roll on items that are given away for free.
How do I sign up?
Our officers will review your application and you should receive an email when the app is accepted or rejected. You will not be able to access our forums or your own application thread. Please do not create a website account unless your application is accepted.
It usually takes us 3-7 days to process applications. Feel free to contact us in-game if you do not get a response within one week.
